Hebburn pub redevelopment: decision day set for The Kelly café-restaurant and flats plan

Councillors are set to rule on plans to turn The Kelly, a former community pub between Jarrow and Hebburn, into a café-restaurant with new flats. The building, once home to a 60-cover bar and an 80-cover function room, was marketed for £295,000 after closing. The bid aims to keep the site in community use while bringing new homes to the area.
