Service and Maintenance of Tennis Courts

Synthetic Grass

Our maintenance programme for synthetic grass courts is as follows:

typical example of a six year old moss infested synthetic grass court
  • Clean tennis court surface, removing leaves and other debris, then thoroughly brush courts to clean and redistribute top sand.

  • Check sand levels and top up if necessary.

  • All fencing will be checked for wear and tear and any minor repairs carried out - i.e. tightening of line wires.

  • The winding mechanism of the tennis net posts to be checked and greased.

  • Apply a weed and moss killer.

  • Check playing lines and inspect for signs of wear.

  • A report on your tennis court will be sent to you on completion.

We recommend that all courts should be treated with a solution of weed and mosskiller once or twice per year. The latter being necessary where courts are shaded by trees. We would stress that the application of weed and mosskiller to the tennis court surface does not imply that there will be no further growth, only that it is inhibited as far as possible.

If you require more information, or would like to discuss our maintenance programme, please do not hesitate to contact us.
